Jason Sultana is well known and trusted in the truck and plant industry sectors, with a network of contacts Australia wide. He has firsthand experience in the industry from the workshop floor as a diesel mechanic and workshop leading hand, through to roles in sales and sales management in the truck sector.
In 2009, Jason Sultana identified a gap in the market and founded Just Automotive Recruitment. He knew to be successful in recruiting for this industry you need to know this industry, inside out and back to front. Dealing with all types of businesses and all levels of people from a one man operator through to CEOs and national sales managers, Jason Sultana has a great understanding of the marketplace.
Ben joined the International Recruitment team at Just Automotive Recruitment in March 2022, heading up the team responsible for the recruitment of overseas workers under the TSS (Temporary Skills Shortage) / SID (Skills in Demand) visa program for Australian employers.
Ben has been in the automotive industry since he first started on the tools as a heavy vehicle mechanical apprentice. While working hands-on in the workshop, Ben combined his heavy vehicle qualification with further study to also complete his Auto Electrical license. From the workshop floor, Ben then moved into Sales in the heavy vehicle sector. With almost 10 years in sales, Ben’s last 5 years prior to joining Just Automotive Recruitment were as Group Sales Manager for a large Sydney based truck dealership. This combination of technical and sales experience, along with his comprehensive understanding of the heavy vehicle sector makes him a welcome addition to the team at Just Automotive Recruitment.
Lauren Ponder
Client Services Support (International Recruitment)
Lauren joined the team at Just Automotive Recruitment in early 2023 to support our staff and customers following major business growth.
She has 25 years of extensive administration background in a number of industries including travel, print copy and automotive working her way up from office Junior to Executive Assistant at a major automotive company. Prior to joining Just Automotive Recruitment, she successfully ran a small business for 6 years, through 2 pandemic shutdowns, and coming out the other side bigger and more successful than it has ever been.
Lauren has a very strong level of customer service and works closely with our Head of Operations, Finance & Client services, in addition to providing guidance and leadership to the Client Services team.
Donna Robinson
Head of Operations, Finance & Client Services
Prior to joining Just Automotive Recruitment, Donna’s experience focused strongly in the recruitment sector, starting up the Sydney operation for a boutique Melbourne IT recruitment company. Donna was involved in all functions of the business; sales, marketing, real estate, recruitment, budgets, business strategy and financial management. The Sydney branch grew to a team of twelve before the organisation was sold to a national competitor five years later.
Having subsequently spent several years in her own small business, Donna started working with Just Automotive Recruitment in early 2011. Using skills gained from working in most facets of the recruitment industry, Donna now manages the Clients Services, Finance and Operations teams to ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the business.
Bernd Spilker
International Recruitment Specialist
Originally from Germany, Bernd Spilker has 38 years of experience in the automotive industry.
He began his career as a light vehicle apprentice and worked his way up to Service Manager in large dealerships, gaining extensive technical and managerial expertise.
After migrating to Australia 19 years ago, Bernd continued building his career in the automotive sector.
In March 2024, he joined Just Automotive Recruitment as an International Recruitment Specialist.
Now based in the Philippines, he uses his industry knowledge to connect skilled professionals with Australian businesses.
His hands-on experience ensures he finds the right talent to support the success of both employers and candidates.
Kerryn Martorana (B.Psych,Hons) MAPS JP
As a business coach and registered psychologist with 20 years of experience in the field, Kerryn currently assists individuals, families, businesses and sports people by empowering them to be their very best in all aspects of their lives. Kerryn has developed many skills as a sales coach, business & leadership coach, HR & recruitment consulting advisor, life skills manager, stress & resilience coach, mind coach and mentor.
Kerryn can also assist with family and relationships counselling, sports psychology and confidence & self-esteem coaching psychology.
