About the Role
Step into an exciting automotive technician role supporting 35 workshops across New Zealand and Australia. You’ll work with premium Italian-imported products, focusing on distribution with occasional hands-on fitting and installation. This is your chance to work with advanced automotive electronics, accessories, and driver control systems. Perfect for an electronics tech, accessories fitter, or motivated apprentice ready to build real skills. Duties
- Install and program automotive electronics and accessories
- Use diagnostic scan tools when needed
- Perform accessory fitment, patching wiring harness, and basic strip-down work
- Assist with engine management system integration
- Set up and test driver control electronic systems
- Maintain quality and efficiency in all installations
- Fit and instal high end electronics and mechatronics systems
- Assessing and modifying electrical systems
Skills and experience
- Electronics technician or accessories fitter with electrical knowledge
- Mechanical experience and familiarity with automotive systems
- Current passion for all things electrical and electronics
- Skilled in the use of multimeter and other electrical tools
- Experience fitting high-end accessories and developing wiring looms
- Completed HSC with hands-on work experience
- Open to mature-age apprentices eager to learn and develop in the trade
