About the role
Are you an ambitious and results-driven individual with a passion for sales and business development? Our client is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to focus on expanding the sales of their cutting-edge product, with a specific emphasis on Heavy Vehicle brake testing machines.
Duties
- Concentrate on driving sales, with a primary focus on Heavy Vehicle brake testing machines.
- Generate leads independently through effective phone calls and targeted email campaigns.
- Proactively follow up on leads to ensure successful sales closures.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through strategic planning and execution.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients.
- Regularly visit clients, build relationships, and address their needs.
- Travel interstate as required for client meetings and business development opportunities.
Skills and experience
- Automotive experience is essential, preferably in the heavy vehicle industry.
- Proven experience in business development and sales.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive approach to lead generation and sales closure.
- Willingness to travel, including interstate travel, as required.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
