About the role
Are you a driven service or fixed operations manager who leads from the front? Join a busy heavy vehicle dealership in a key management position and take an experienced team to the next level. Proven automotive or plant experience is essential; this is a large operation with multiple brands and as such requires an individual who can think on their feet and deliver on business goals; if this sounds like you, we want to hear from you!
Duties
- Achieve departmental performance objectives and targets
- Uphold and implement quality service processes aligned with manufacturer standards
- Maintain accurate and concise reports and documentation
- Lead and model safe work practices and compliance with company procedures
- Drive high standards of customer service
- Conduct regular team briefings and provide support to service staff
Skills and experience
- Strong leader who inspires and drives performance
- Proven track record running a profitable service department
- Deep knowledge of automotive or heavy vehicle service ops
- Great with people – team, customers, and stakeholders
- Calm under pressure and thrives in a fast-paced setting
- High-energy, customer-first mindset
- Organised, efficient, and tech-savvy
- Trade qualified with hands-on mechanical know-how
