About the role

Duties
- Lead and oversee Body Repairs, Tail Lift, and Fleet Service operations.
- Manage workshop staff, schedules, and job allocations.
- Drive performance to meet sales, productivity, and margin targets.
- Ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Support quoting, invoicing, and job documentation accuracy.
- Monitor KPIs and implement process improvements.
- Enforce safety standards and WHS compliance across all areas.
- Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented culture.
- Resolve operational issues and act as escalation point.
- Build strong relationships with clients and promote service growth.
Skills and experience
- Trade-qualified in the automotive industry.
- Proven experience managing a busy service workshop.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth understanding of fleet servicing, body repairs, and tail lift systems.
- Excellent knowledge of WHS standards and safe work practices.
- Skilled in job scheduling, quoting, budgeting, and cost control.
- Strong customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to analyse KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Hands-on problem solver with a proactive mindset.
- Commercially astute with a focus on service growth and profitability.
