About the role  
As our new Light Vehicle Mechanic, you’ll service, fault find and repair repair prestige European branded vehicles such as BMW, Audi and Mercedes. This is a great opportunity for an experienced technician to step away from the corporate dealership world and into a well run, family owned independent workshop.
  
Duties 

• Work on a wide range of prestige European vehicles, including BMW, Mercedes, Audi, VW, JLR, and more. 
• Perform general servicing, maintenance, and repairs with attention to quality and safety. 
• Diagnose and fix both mechanical and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and software. 
• Handle brake, suspension, cooling system, and air conditioning/climate control work. 
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, efficiency, and workshop safety. 
• Deliver friendly, professional, and customer-focused service. 
• Collaborate as part of a small, skilled team of workshop professionals. 

Skills and experience 

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent) – essential. 
• Proven experience working on prestige European vehicles such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, JLR etc.
• Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting skills. 
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a small, skilled team. 
• Proficient with modern diagnostic tools, scan equipment, and workshop technology. 
• Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service. 
• Current driver’s licence and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
