Just Automotive Recruitment is searching for experienced Fitter Generals that will join their team. You are expected to maintain diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements.

• 10 full-time positions available
• $65,000-$90,000 PA depending on experience
• Location: QLD

Critical Responsibilities:
● Workshop repairs and maintenance
● New machine pre-delivery preparation and inspection
● Customer satisfaction
● Safety / Quality
● Cross-functional support

Main Responsibilities:
Fault finding, repairs, and services including but not limited to:
● Diesel and petrol engines
● Diesel, petrol, and LPG fuel systems
● Steering systems
● Transmissions – hydrostatic, Powershift, and manual
● Brake systems
● Hydraulic valves and cylinders
● Electrical starting, charging, and accessories
● Service and diagnostic repairs
● Liaise with the spare parts team to determine the parts required for repairs
● To complete repair and services within reasonable time frames
● To process workshop service/repair documentation daily
● Work in a safe manner, use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided and comply with the requirements of the current Occupational Safety and Health (OS&H) legislation
● Other duties as directed
