About the role 
Just Automotive Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Accessory Fitter (Commercial Vehicle) to install, calibrate and service onboard weighing systems and truck accessories while delivering exceptional customer service both in the workshop and onsite. 
  
Duties 

• Install onboard weighing systems and commercial vehicle accessories to a high standard.
• Perform system testing, calibration and annual recalibration of weighing equipment.  
• Diagnose and resolve basic wiring and installation issues during fitment and servicing.  
• Travel to customer sites across NSW and interstate to complete installations and maintenance.  
• Maintain accurate service records while ensuring all work complies with safety and company standards. 

Skills and experience 

• Previous experience in a truck, automotive or mechanical workshop environment.  
• Background in truck pre-delivery, accessory fitting or heavy vehicle servicing is highly regarded.  
• Strong mechanical aptitude with confidence using workshop tools and completing practical installations.  
• Basic automotive electrical knowledge with experience performing simple wiring tasks.  
• Reliable, customer-focused and able to work independently while travelling as required.
