About the role
Hit the road and fix what matters. Work 75% in the field on tractors, headers, and balers. Tackle real ag gear with variety, freedom, and solid team support.
Duties
- Work on top-tier ag equipment: New Holland, Massey Ferguson, Fendt
- Handle tractors, headers, balers – with occasional truck work
- 75% field-based; 25% workshop jobs
- On-call roster every 6 weeks (Mon–Sun), $180 for the week plus penalty rates for callouts
- Diagnose, repair & maintain ag machinery to keep farms moving
- Hours: Mon–Fri, 7am–5pm, overtime after 45 hrs/week
- Company vehicle & phone supplied
- $48–$55/hr + 3-month review for potential raise
- Supported accommodation available if relocating – share house for singles
Skills and experience
- Proven experience with ag machinery – New Holland, Massey Ferguson, Fendt
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills
- Confident working on headers, tractors, balers, and general ag gear
- Field service experience highly regarded
- Ability to work independently and manage time on the road
- HR truck license a bonus but not essential
- Willingness to be on an on-call roster
- Great attitude, team player, and problem-solver
- Trade qualified Diesel Mechanic or equivalent
