About the role
Just Automotive Recruitment is searching for an experienced Auto Electrician (Commercial Vehicle) to join a growing team in Arndell Park, NSW. This hands-on role focuses on fault finding, diagnostics, installations, and repairs across truck-mounted waste equipment and related electrical systems.
Duties
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on commercial vehicles and waste equipment.
- Perform CAN bus diagnostics between truck chassis and body systems.
- Install and maintain cameras, reverse systems, warning devices, buzzers, and lighting.
- Conduct electrical testing, troubleshooting, and fault-finding activities.
- Complete repair and maintenance work to ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently.
Skills and experience
- Trade-qualified Auto Electrician.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic experience.
- Sound knowledge of CAN bus systems and vehicle electronics.
- Experience working on commercial vehicles, trucks, or heavy equipment.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
