About the role
Lead the charge in technical excellence! As Diagnostic Support Manager, you’ll support dealers and fleets, manage field investigations and mentor a wider technical team. This is a key role providing technical support both on and off site to workshop teams across the country.
Duties
- Solve complex tech issues onsite or remotely for dealers and fleet clients.
- Lead field investigations and onsite support with the tech support team.
- Manage part returns and support detailed product reporting.
- Spot trends fast by tracking and analyzing support enquiries.
- Write clear bulletins and tech tips to share key insights.
- Support visiting teams during in-field investigations.
- Back up our teams with expert advice across the dealer network.
- Log every case using support systems to stay on top of enquiries.
- Stay sharp through ongoing training and upskilling.
- Pitch in as needed with related support duties.
Skills and experience
- Strong diagnostic expertise in automotive systems and technologies
- Proven leadership in coordinating technical support teams
- Excellent troubleshooting skills – both remote and onsite
- Experience managing escalated technical cases and field investigations
- Clear communicator with strong report-writing and documentation skills
- Ability to mentor and coach technical team members
- Customer-focused mindset with a drive for service excellence
- Solid understanding of parts and service operations
- Familiar with support systems/tools for tracking technical enquiries
- Passion for promoting genuine parts and service solutions
