About the role
Just Automotive Recruitment is searching for an Engineering Workshop Assistant to support workshop operations including sand blasting, painting, packaging, dispatch, and general production duties.
Duties
- Sand blast, paint, and prime coat components to a high-quality standard
- Operate CNC punch press and assist with general workshop duties
- Prepare, wrap, palletise, and coordinate products for dispatch
- Travel to Sydney for deliveries and material collection as required
- Assist with occasional site work, including confined space and working at heights tasks when required
Skills and experience
- Forklift license required, with TA or site experience highly regarded
- Confined space and working at heights tickets
- Strong attention to detail with a methodical and organised approach to work
- Physically fit, able to work independently, and capable of manual handling tasks
- Positive attitude with willingness to learn
