About the role   
As a Mobile Tyre Fitter, you’ll be servicing commercial vehicles on-site – from fleet inspections to breakdown call-outs – ensuring safety and reliability across Perth’s transport industry. 

Duties  

• Carry out on-site tyre replacements for trucks and commercial fleets, including fitting, stripping, balancing and repairs. Conduct regular fleet inspections, identify issues, and record findings via tablet for service authorisation.  
• Operate both manual and machine-assisted tyre fitting equipment depending on site setup. 
• Respond to breakdown call-outs as part of a rotating on-call roster (1 week out of 14)  
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in safe working condition. 
• Deliver a high standard of customer service and represent the team professionally on-site.  
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies during field operations. 

Skills and experience 

• Previous experience fitting truck and commercial tyres (mobile or workshop-based).  
• Valid C class driver’s licence required; HR licence desirable (training can be provided).  
• Cert II in Tyre Fitting (Heavy/Commercial) desirable but not essential.
• Sound mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently.  
• Good communication and customer service skills.  
• Comfortable using tablet-based reporting systems.  
• Willingness to work occasional overtime and participate in on-call roster.

• On-call allowance: $140 per week + minimum 3 hours pay per call-out at 1.5x (minimum 1 x week required every 14 weeks)
