Just Automotive Recruitment is assisting in the search for skilled Fitters General to join the team. You are expected to maintain diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements.

- $75,000-$90,000 PA depending on experience
- Location: New South Wales
Main Responsibilities:
- Type of work may include repair, manufacture, assist with and/or design other hydraulic related components and engineered metal products (Machining, General Light Fabrication, Power units and Manifolds as examples), mobile hydraulic hose and fitting replacement, general hydraulic related repairs on mobile and fixed plant in both the workshop and occasionally out in the field with in assistance with our mobile hydraulic technicians when required.
- Assist with, develop, and follow systems on hydraulic breakdowns and repair process with the team (mainly but not limited to hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic systems, general hydraulic repairs, rebuilds, removing and installing components and engineered metal products)
- Assist with, develop, and follow internal policies and procedures with the team around hydraulic repair and manufacturing processes and assist with documentation on these processes.
- Attend training (Internal or External as directed), be educated and then educate apprentices and trainees on hydraulic repair processes, manufacturing/repair processes, hydraulic hoses and fittings and other areas of the business as required and that are within your skill set.
- Assist with, help achieve and maintain ISO9001 accreditation.
- Work productively with Engineering team and apprentices (workshop), other hydraulic technicians, admin, accounts and service centre staff.
- Ensure to follow the 3s principles (Sweep, Sort, Standardise) every morning and encourage your workmates to find, fix and/or communicate issues they find for continuous improvement.
- Assist with setting and reaching KPI’s and Individual/team targets and objectives.
- Ensure all job cards and job-related records are kept in an orderly and efficient manner and either invoice or assist with invoicing to customers when asked to do so. This could include manual paperwork and also digital records (Computer/Tablet)
