About the role
Due to exciting growth within a successful powerhouse workshop our client is seeking a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join their team. Welcoming light vehicle and plant mechanics to apply.
Duties
- Work in conjunction with other team members to ensure repairs are completed
- Provide support and guidance to junior team members
- Carry out major and minor repairs on a wide range of vehicle
- Ensure all requests on repair orders are checked and completed.
- Identify and advise of any additional repairs required
- Practice and promote company WHS policies and processes at all times
Skills and experience
- Experience in the Heavy Vehicle Industry is beneficial
- Light Vehicles and Plant Mechanics are welcome to apply.
- Must be Mechanical trade qualified
- Ability to work well within a team and unsupervised.
- OEM and Dealership experience are highly desirable.
- Current HC/HR driver’s license is advantageous
