Ownership Opportunity
This role includes a clear pathway to part business ownership with no upfront investment, details of which can be discussed in interview. Alongside a strong hourly wage, this is a low-risk opportunity to grow into a leadership and equity role.
Duties
- Oversee daily store operations, ensuring efficiency while maintaining health and safety standards.
- Manage inventory: replenishing stock, coordinating supplier relationships, and maintaining optimal levels of hoses, fittings, adapters, and components.
- Build strong customer relationships through prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly service.
- Drive in-store sales by promoting Hydraulink’s range of hoses, fittings, and related products.
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and other store documentation
- Manage cash handling, banking, and end-of-day reconciliations.
Skills and experience
- Prior hands-on experience in an operational role with experience in managing profit and loss accounts
- Past experience in hydraulic systems maintenance and repair essential
- Ability to build strong relationships and deliver prompt, professional service
- Can assess issues on-site and provide practical, efficient solutions
- Able to work independently, take initiative, and manage time effectively
- Willing to work closely with partners and support team goals
- Valid driver’s license; relevant trade or mechanical certifications are a plus
- Familiarity with the local market, especially Wagga or surrounding areas, is an advantage
