About the role
This is a fantastic lifestyle change for fishing and camping lovers. We’re seeking a community-focused individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional automotive services and contributing positively to the community. We are looking for a 2IC Mechanic and an experienced Mechanic to join the team.
Duties
- Conduct inspections, maintenance, and repairs for passenger vehicles and light trucks.
- Utilise workshop tools, automotive parts, job/labour pricing, invoicing, and general workshop procedures.
- Attend to call-outs and breakdowns which is paid accordingly.
- Train, supervise, and oversee a team of technicians.
- Manage daily workshop operations and report to the Workshop Manager.
Skills and experience
- Possession of light vehicle mechanical trade qualifications
- Demonstrated experience overseeing a workshop environment and team leadership skills.
- Experienced in inspections, maintenance, repairs and diagnosis for passenger vehicles and light trucks.
- Demonstrate familiarity with workshop machinery, automotive parts, job/labour pricing, invoicing, and general workshop procedures.
- Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety Risks.
- Current manual driver’s licence.
- Availability for after-hours call-out roster for AANT Road service.
- Current Police Check and Ochre Card.
Desirable
- Ability to conduct Road Worthy inspections.
- Air-conditioning qualifications.
- Heavy Rigid or Tow Truck Licence.
- Previous Leadership Experience Or Ambitious individual
