About the role
Just Automotive Recruitment is searching for a skilled service technician with strong experience in engines, gearbox rebuilds, and electrical diagnostics—particularly on older model bikes.
Duties
- General servicing and repairs including CVT transmissions, CV boots/shafts, suspension, and electrical fault finding
- Top-end rebuilds: pistons, camshafts, cam changes, and related work
- Major services including top-end and bottom-end engine work
- Diagnostics, suspension work, CVT clutch rebuilds, tyre changing
- Gearbox rebuilds and precision mechanical work
Skills and experience
- Ability to work independently—no micromanagement required
- High attention to detail with a genuine passion for motorcycles
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and pride in quality output
- Proven ability to produce high hours with minimal comebacks
- Hands-on experience with Yamaha and Kawasaki (desirable)
- Trade qualification (Cert IV) with minimum 5 years’ experience
