About the role 
Factory-based position in NSW fabricating insulated cool room doors and related products. Using large-scale machinery and precision tools, you’ll assemble, cut, and finish panels to tight tolerances. Ideal for someone experienced in fabrication or cool room assembly who’s ready to hit the ground running and contribute to a close-knit team. 

Duties 

• Fabricate insulated doors using pre-made panels and aluminium trims.
• Read and interpret plans, drawings, and CAD instructions accurately. 
• Cut panels to precise angles and measurements.  
• Assemble doors, including fitting handles, windows, seals, and other hardware.  
• Operate basic factory tools such as drop saws, hand saws, and measuring equipment.  
• Maintain quality and accuracy — target of around 2–3 completed doors per day.  
• Assist in other areas of production as required.  
• Work safely and contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment. 

Skills and experience 

• Previous experience in panel fabrication, cool room assembly, or similar industries (e.g. truck/coach body building). 
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.  
• Confident using hand and power tools.  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances.  
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.  
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexible and willing to assist other areas when needed
