About the role  
As the parts interpreter, you will play a key role in the aftersales department, managing internal and external customers and delivering high levels of service every time. Work closely with the technical team to ensure accurate parts interpreting, assist the parts manager with accurate stock management and maintain strong communication with all stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity both for experienced truck parts advisors and those looking to transition from light vehicle or aftermarket operations. Duties 

• Handle internal and external parts inquiries and sales. 
• Prepare invoices accurately and efficiently. 
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships. 
• Maintain an accurate and relevant inventory, driving efficiency through sales, service and parts departments. 
• Manage inbound and outbound freight and warehousing tasks. 
• Ensure a safe and healthy working environment. 

Skills and experience 

• Demonstrated experience as a parts interpreter in an automotive or related setting
• Strong understanding of vehicle parts and the ability to adapt to new manufacturer and dealer management software
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills 
• Ability to manage time and prioritise in a fast-paced environment 
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy 
• Willingness to learn and grow with the team
