About the role
Our client is seeking an experienced Parts interpreter role for a Full-time position in Hastings. This position is ideally suited to Mechanics looking to put the tools down, or experience interpreters in the Automotive Industry.
Duties
- Responsible for Parts Sales
- Engage with customers through various platforms
- Developing effective parts solutions for both internal and external customers
- Manage inventory
- Conduct stock-takes / cycle counts with a high level of accuracy
- Receiving and dispatching of goods for both local and interstate customers
Skills and experience
- Previous experience in automotive spare parts interpreting and or warehousing preferred
- A mechanic coming off the tools would be suited to this position.
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Good level of computer literacy and ability
- A good mechanical aptitude with attention to detail
- Forklift licence is preferred but not essential
