About the role
Drive your career forward! This customer-facing role is all about building strong relationships, boosting parts sales, and keeping Australia’s trucks and buses on the road. Our client is flexible, giving you the autonomy to manage your own workload around family or other commitments. No micro-managing here! The dealership is based in Prestons, but covers the wider Sydney region so applications are encouraged irrespective of location.
Duties
- Grow parts sales within a set territory and meet/exceed sales targets
- Visit clients to maintain relationships and identify new business
- Promote parts and service solutions to increase market share
- Manage customer orders, credit returns, and purchase transactions
- Support warehousing operations and stock control
- Assist with marketing and customer retention activities
- Be available for on-call customer support as needed
Skills and experience
- Experience in a similar role, will also consider relevant experience from other industries
- Mechanics or parts interpreters encouraged to apply
- Strong mechanical/technical understanding
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Highly organised with great attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and sales software
- Willingness to travel locally for client visits
- A self-starter who thrives in a team environment
