About the role 
We are seeking an experienced parts interpreter to join the team and have a real impact on both short and long term goals. This is a great opportunity to join an independently owned business at an exciting time, and will offer real opportunities to grow your career as the business expands. 
  
Duties 

• Interpret, source, and order heavy vehicle truck parts through OEM dealerships and aftermarket suppliers
• Support workshop technicians by managing parts availability, technical information, and urgent requirements  
• Manage supplier relationships, delivery timelines, backorders, and hard-to-find component sourcing  
• Assist with inventory control, stock management, and maintaining accurate parts records and system updates  
• Liaise with internal workshop staff daily to ensure workshop jobs progress efficiently and on time 

Skills and experience 

• Previous truck or heavy vehicle parts interpreting experience within dealership, workshop, or aftermarket environments preferred  
• Experience using OEM and aftermarket truck parts catalogue systems with strong computer and systems skills  
• Strong organisational, communication, and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced workshop environment  
• Proactive, accountable, and team-focused approach with the ability to manage competing priorities  
• Parts Manager experience highly regarded but not essential for experienced Parts Interpreter candidates
