About the role
Step into a senior key role as Regional Parts Manager, where you’ll be instrumental in building strong dealer relationships and driving parts sales growth across a network spanning NSW, VIC, TAS, and SA. This position offers the perfect blend of relationship management, commercial drive, training, and strategic influence — ideal for an experienced parts professional ready to advance their career.
You will serve as the primary liaison with approximately 18 dealerships, partnering closely with Parts Managers and Dealer Principals / General Managers. Your responsibilities will include regular site visits, supporting sales initiatives to boost purchases and gross profit, delivering onboarding and ongoing training, analysing performance, gathering market feedback, and helping dealerships enhance their operations, merchandising, marketing, and customer engagement. With a flexible mix of autonomy, regular travel (primarily Melbourne and Adelaide, with occasional regional), and the ability to directly influence business outcomes, this role delivers variety, visibility, and strong professional development opportunities in a supportive, results-driven setting.
Duties
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Parts Managers, Dealer Principals and General Managers across the dealer network.
- Drive genuine parts sales by supporting dealerships to achieve sales and gross profit targets.
- Visit dealerships and key fleet customers to identify business growth opportunities and strengthen partnerships.
- Deliver onboarding, coaching and ongoing training to Parts Managers on systems, processes and best practices.
- Analyse dealer performance, gather market feedback and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
Skills and experience
- Previous experience within an automotive or commercial vehicle dealership is essential.
- Background as a Parts Manager, Parts Sales Representative or similar dealership-based parts role.
- Proven ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and influence dealership performance.
- Commercially focused with experience achieving sales, gross profit or business development targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously and travel regularly.
- Ability to travel interstate and locally when required – up to several nights away per month.
