About the role
Just Automotive Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Technician / Workshop Manager to lead workshop operations, oversee technical work, and deliver exceptional service.
Duties
- Oversee day-to-day workshop operations and coordinate workflow to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Carry out major servicing and mechanical repairs, including timing belts, water pumps and other complex repairs.
- Perform advanced diagnostic work and fault-finding across BMW vehicles using specialist diagnostic equipment.
- Supervise and mentor the workshop apprentice, with the potential for the team to grow in the future.
- Prepare job cards, order service parts in advance, and assist the front-of-house team with clear explanations of work completed and required repairs.
Skills and experience
- Qualified Automotive Technician with strong European vehicle experience
- Extensive BMW servicing, diagnostics, and repair expertise.
- Previous workshop leadership, supervisory, or management experience.
- Strong knowledge of major mechanical repairs, engines, and transmissions.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
Benefits
- Competitive salary package of $120K-$130K + Super + KPI bonus structure
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm – no weekend work.
