About the role
Based in Western Sydney, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the busy parts store for one of the company’s major accounts. Your mission is to ensure the efficient supply of truck and trailer parts to the client’s busy repair and maintenance workshop.
- Provide on-site parts store services for key contract
- Truck and trailer parts experience highly regarded
We need a reliable and experienced Parts Interpreter, preferably with a background in heavy truck and / or trailer parts.
A current driver’s licence is essential, and a forklift licence would be helpful.
This role will suit an experienced Automotive Parts Interpreter looking for challenging and secure role with plenty of variety and good income.
Duties
- Taking orders for mechanics and supervisors for parts.
- Customer facing, good communicator
- Truck experience nice to have
- LVM background is a bonus
- Comfortable in office environment
- Comfortable on customer site.
- Expertise on nuts and bolts of interpreting
- Computer system savvy

- Reliability with good attendance record
- A confident and well-presented individual with attention to detail
- Customer focused problem solver who can deal with clients at all levels
- Ability to work autonomously whilst being part of a larger team
- Willingness to undertake a wide range of tasks including pickup and delivery of parts
- Good understanding of inventory practices and logistics
- Commercially savvy with sound computer literacy
- Adherence to safety and safe driving practices
