Service Administrator – East Wagga, NSW

About the role  
This is a dynamic, full-time position blending customer service, phone support, and admin work in a fast-paced automotive environment. You’ll be the go-to person for managing Repair Orders, booking appointments, entering service notes, and following up with suppliers. With a mix of phone interaction and data entry, this role is ideal for someone confident on the phone, sharp on a computer, and ready to be part of a hardworking, supportive team. Whether you come from a trade, hospitality, retail, or admin background, if you’re reliable, organised, and customer-focused — we want to hear from you. 

Duties 

• Finalise Repair Orders (ROs) passed from the workshop team 
• Answer incoming phone calls and provide friendly, helpful support to customers 
• Accurately enter service notes and job details into the system 
• Make service bookings and manage customer scheduling 
• Follow up with suppliers to chase outstanding purchase orders
• Balance phone-based customer support with data entry tasks (approx. 50/50) 
• Use strong computer and typing skills to keep records up-to-date and accurate 
• Work with a range of team members — this role suits those from automotive, hospitality, or admin backgrounds 
• Provide excellent customer service and create a positive experience at every touchpoint 
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:15 AM start with a 3:30–4:00 PM finish. Overtime or salary-based role depending on experience. 

Skills and experience 

• Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite 
• Confident and engaging phone manner with clear communication skills 
• Strong customer service focus with the ability to build rapport quickly 
• Previous experience in automotive, hospitality, retail, or administrative roles preferred 
• Open to candidates with mechanical experience or an interest in the trade 
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to full-time weekday work (Monday–Friday) 
• Available for full-time hours, with salary or overtime arrangements offered based on experience
