About the role
As a Service Advisor, your day will be filled with dynamic and engaging interactions. You’ll be the welcoming face and helpful voice for our customers, whether they’re visiting in person or calling in. You’ll skillfully handle their needs and precisely convey their vehicle requirements to the workshop team, ensuring timely repairs and delighted customers.
Duties
- Scheduling customer service repair orders, obtaining a clear brief from the customer as to any issues
- Keep a close eye on the progress through the Workshop.
- Preparing invoices and closing allocated repairs
- Maintain contact with customers throughout the day
- Update and quote customers on recommended repairs
- Ordering parts accordingly
- Ensuring the customers’ expectations are exceeded
- Assisting the Workshop team in resolving any customer-related concerns
- Processing payments of cash, cheque, and Eftpos daily
Skills and experience
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in light or heavy vehicles
- Qualified Mechanics looking to get off the tools are strongly encouraged to apply
- Motivated to always provide exceptional customer service.
- Friendly and approachable demeanor
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate organizational and time management abilities
- Must be computer savvy and Pentana software experience desirable.
- Requires a proactive attitude to work in a team environment and a pleasant telephone manner.

- Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 5:00 pm + 1 Rostered Saturday per month.
- Hourly rate varies on experience $30.00 – $38.00 + OT & Bonus.
