About the role
Our client is seeking a sharp, customer-focused Service Advisor to join their busy team in Arncliffe This role is all about keeping the service department running smoothly—managing bookings, liaising with customers, and ensuring trucks are back on the road fast. It’s a great opportunity for someone with technical knowledge, a love for the industry, and the drive to take ownership in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Book service, maintenance, and repair appointments.
- Manage vehicle check-ins and check-outs.
- Track vehicle progress and update customers.
- Prepare accurate quotes and final invoices.
- Process and explain warranty claims.
- Close off service contracts efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service in all interactions.
- Work closely with service, workshop, and parts teams.
- Help build templates and improve job processes.
Skills and experience
- Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a technical role, ideally in the trucking or heavy vehicle industry desirable
- Confident handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Committed to delivering outstanding customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong time management and organisational abilities
- Quick thinker with solid problem-solving skills
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident with full working rights
