About the role
Join an awesome 4WD Accessories business in a crucial role, overseeing a team of workshop fitters and sales staff. Destination site, modern and exciting facility to work in with some of the best automotive accessory products money can buy. This is an ideal role for an experienced aftersales professional of some description with a passion for the great outdoors. Dodge the dealership and general repair workshop red tape and work with customers to put together their dream vehicle builds for off road adventures!
Duties
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the retail store and workshop teams
- Drive sales growth, achieve gross profit targets, and identify upselling opportunities
- Oversee stock control, ordering, inventory accuracy, and loss prevention
- Maintain existing and build strong new relationships with customers, trade partners, dealerships, and panel shops
- Ensure a safe, organised, and professional retail environment while maintaining quality control standards
Skills and experience
- Previous automotive experience is highly beneficial – we are open to a wide range of backgrounds
- Some knowledge or interest in 4WD is well regarded
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate workshop and sales teams also highly regarded
- Proven track record of achieving sales and profitability targets
- Excellent organisational, inventory management, and customer service skills
- Current Australian driver’s licence with confident communication and problem-solving abilities
