About the role
Just Automotive Recruitment is seeking an experienced senior technician / mechanic interested in moving into technical support to provide expert product, technical, and customer support for a range of automotive accessories and mobility equipment. Full training is provided, though a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with some fabrication skills is essential to be considered.
Duties
- Provide technical advice and troubleshooting support for automotive accessories and mobility products
- Assist customers, dealers, and internal teams with product enquiries and technical issues
- Diagnose and resolve product-related faults efficiently and professionally
- Maintain accurate records of technical cases, solutions, and customer interactions
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers regarding technical updates, warranty matters, and product improvements
Skills and experience
- Previous experience in automotive technical support, automotive accessories, or a related field highly regarded but not essential
- Open to senior technicians with some fabrication experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with automotive systems and components
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and product specifications
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
