About the role
Join a small, supportive team as a service technician and enjoy a hands-on, varied role where every day is different. You’ll travel across Greater Sydney, the Central Coast, Wollongong, Newcastle and beyond, servicing industrial parts washers in dealerships, factories, and power stations. This is practical, satisfying work — draining and replacing fluids, servicing pumps and gearboxes, clearing blockages, and performing straightforward mechanical and basic electrical repairs. You’ll be given a clean, well-maintained manual company truck (with MR licence support if needed), the freedom to work independently, and the backing of a close team of technicians. If you’re physically fit, enjoy solving problems on-site, love being on the road, and take pride in keeping essential equipment running reliably, this is a fantastic opportunity to build a stable, rewarding career with real variety and genuine autonomy.
Duties
- Perform scheduled servicing and maintenance of industrial parts washers.
- Replace fluids, pumps, gearboxes, seals, and other mechanical components.
- Diagnose and resolve basic mechanical faults, blockages, and equipment issues.
- Transport equipment between customer sites and the workshop while maintaining service records.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment to a high standard while travelling throughout the service region.
Skills and experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in automotive, industrial, or heavy mechanical environments.
- Confident driving manual vehicles with a clean driving record.
- Physically fit and capable of handling heavy equipment and components.
- Able to work independently while contributing to a small, collaborative team.
- Forklift license, MR license, or basic electrical diagnostic experience will be highly regarded.
