Trailer Mechanic – Direk, SA
- Earn up to $50 + per hour depending on experience
- Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:36 PM
- Optional overtime — available but not regularly required

About the role
Join a busy, hands-on workshop diagnosing, servicing and repairing trailers. Day to day, you’ll handle all kinds of trailer maintenance and repairs, pre-delivery work with some body work as needed. No experience in body repairs? No problem – this is a great opportunity for experienced mechanics or light vehicle techs looking to upskill. Visa holders in-country welcome!
Duties
- Diagnose, repair and service a range of trailers.
- Perform pre-delivery inspections on new trailers.
- Handle body repairs when needed; open to upskilling.
- Ensure high standard of work maintained at all times.
Skills and experience
- Experience with trailer servicing and repairs
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
- Welding and fabrication skills desirable but not essential
- Basic electrical knowledge
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and upskill
