About the role
Are you an experienced Parts Manager looking for a leadership role? We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Parts Manager to take charge of our Queanbeyan branch. You’ll lead a motivated team while driving parts sales, enhancing customer relationships, and contributing to the overall success of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and guide the Parts sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Manage and monitor the parts inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels.
- Oversee parts sales revenue, margin, and expense performance.
- Build strong, lasting relationships with customers, ensuring exceptional service at every step of the buying process.
- Identify and implement marketing strategies to drive new business and increase revenue.
- Provide detailed reports on department performance and explore new opportunities for growth.
- Continuously train, develop, and inspire your team to deliver outstanding results.
What We’re Looking For:
- Industry Experience: Prior experience as a Parts Manager, ideally within the trucking or heavy machinery sector.
- Customer-Centric: Strong customer service skills with a focus on building rapport and ensuring satisfaction.
- Leadership: Ability to manage, train, and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Tech-Savvy: Competent with computers and business software, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem Solver: Sharp attention to detail with a knack for identifying issues and implementing effective solutions
