About the role
Are you a skilled truck mechanic with leadership experience? We’re seeking a dynamic individual to join the team as a Truck Workshop Manager. This role offers an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership position in a bustling workshop.
Duties
- Supervise and guide the workshop team of 15 to ensure efficient operations.
- Work closely with Foreman and monitor progress to meet deadlines.
- Building relationships with customers
- Professional ability to deal with Manufacturers.
- Ensure jobs are completed on time and to a high standard, conduct toolbox meetings, and manage breakdowns and drop-ins.
Skills and experience
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Previous experience dealing with customers and building strong relationships.
- Previous experience as a workshop manager or other similar senior role
- Work closely with the parts department, warehouse, and service advisor.
- Must have hands-on experience with trucks and heavy vehicles.
