Permanent Recruitment
We manage the recruitment process from start to finish, and utilise a range of sources to find the candidates for your role. From local advertising, our extensive database and social media talent pooling.
We screen and interview qualified applicants before we submit the resume to you. These days all of our interviews are done using technology to ensure the fastest turnaround possible.
Detailed reference checks are also undertaken on candidates, usually this takes place prior to the offer being made.
Medicals/Drug & Alcohol screening.
We can arrange these tests on your behalf if required.
Psychometric testing.
There are times when understanding the personality or management style of a candidate can be a key factor in the recruitment process. This is certainly the case at a strategic or management level where technical experience and understanding is only one element of the position. We retain the services of a qualified psychologist to interpret the results of the psychometric testing - this is not a pass or fail exercise. It is an assessment that identifies your natural strengths and potential areas of difficulty. It can also identify your inherent leadership and people skills.
International Recruitment.
We know firsthand about the shortage of quality, skilled and reliable trades people in the local market. Today, there are real shortages in such areas as plant and diesel mechanics, body builders and panel beaters. Just Automotive Recruitment can source qualified trades people using overseas automotive recruitment strategies.
Qualified trades people can be sourced and employed on “482” visa’s (previously 457), and we can help find one tradesperson or can recruit for a major project. Working with our partners in targeted countries, we find qualified staff that have English language skills, are system trained and pass all the Australian government requirements. We have relationships with international recruitment and visa agencies and have successfully facilitated the employment of candidates from the Philippines and South Africa to date.
Candidate Care program.
We stay in touch with both the employer and the candidate during the 3 month probation period. This enables us keep up to date with how the new employee is settling into the position. We have specifically created this program to help maximize employee retention rates, and to address any concerns that may arise early in the employee / employer relationship.
