About the role
We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Body Builder to join our client in Campbelltown. Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, this hands-on role focuses on working on various road transport trailers using a range of materials.

Duties

• Interpret blueprints to determine work requirements
• Maintain and service a variety of equipment
• Fabricate, bolt, and weld metal components
• Assemble products and production equipment in the workshop
• Inspect industrial or commercial equipment for proper operation
• Ensure compliance with standards by evaluating information
• Work according to detailed specifications and within required timeframes

Skills and experience

• Relevant trade qualification
• Working knowledge of semi-trailers
• Minimum of 3 years experience
• Experience in MIG welding heavy steel
• Good organizational skills and initiative
