Our client operates a modern, well equipped workshop to support a large fleet of fully equipped vans carrying out mobile service and repair work across Australia. With a highly skilled team out on the road and in the workshop, they’re redefining convenience and quality in mobile servicing and repairs – nationwide.
About the role
Join a modern, fully equipped workshop and support mobile mechanics with repairs that can’t be completed out on the road. Trade qualification and hands on experience in a workshop setting are essentials.
Duties
- Carry out diagnosis and repairs on a range of different makes and models – no two days are the same
- Ensure repairs are documented accurately and in line with company policies
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high quality of work
- Work independently and as part of a team as required
- Ensure workplace health and safety is maintained at all times
- Some Saturday work is required (60%) paid at penalty rates
Skills and experience
- Formal qualification in light vehicle mechanics or equivalent
- Hands on experience in a workshop setting is essential
- Ability to work on a broad range of makes and models
- Skilled in using workshop tools and diagnostics
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Good communication skills
- Manual driver’s licence (or willing to obtain)
- Experienced visa holders with 6+ months remaining considered
