About the role  
Seeking experienced heavy diesel mechanics, trucks and trailers. Handle repairs, servicing, and rebuilds in a supportive team. Flexible day or afternoon shifts with competitive pay. If you’re trade-qualified and experienced, apply now! 

Duties  

  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on heavy vehicles in line with manufacturer standards.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults using dealership tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Perform engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and driveline repairs.
  • Undertake engine and component rebuilds where required.
  • Accurately record service and repair work in dealership systems.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment.
  • Work collaboratively with service advisors, parts interpreters, and fellow technicians to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Adhere to workplace health and safety policies and manufacturer guidelines

Skills and experience 

  • Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent trade qualification).
  • Proven experience as a heavy vehicle mechanic, preferably in a dealership or OEM service environment.
  • Experience in engine and component rebuilds highly desirable.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with electronic diagnostic equipment and service manuals.
  • Sound understanding of safety and compliance requirements in a workshop setting.
  • Current driver’s license 
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and meeting manufacturer standards.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
