We are seeking skilled Heavy Vehicle Technicians to join a state-of-the-art workshop currently located in Somerton and soon moving to Mickleham. Duties
- Perform repairs, servicing, and inspections on engines, gearboxes, brakes, differentials, and a wide range of trucks and buses.
- Conduct diagnostic analysis using the latest diagnostic software and computer equipment.
- Produce clear and concise repair order reports and provide recommendations.
- Offer guidance and support to apprentices, mechanics, and trade assistants.
- Maintain a strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Certificate III in Mechanical Trade (or equivalent) with experience in the heavy vehicle industry.
- Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- HC driver’s license (desirable but not essential).
- A customer-focused approach and dedication to high-quality work Own set of tools
- Competitive Pay: $38 - $45 per hour (based on experience)
- Flexible Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:06 pm or 9:00 am - 5:06 pm with OT available
