About the role
Just Automotive Recruitment is searching for a Light Vehicle Mechanic in Fyshwick, ACT to handle day-to-day servicing and repairs in a well-established independent workshop.
Duties
- Perform routine servicing and mechanical repairs to a high standard.
- Diagnose and repair brakes, suspension, steering and tyre issues.
- Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance.
- Complete roadworthy/rego inspections where appropriately ticketed.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop while working efficiently with minimal supervision.
Skills and experience
- Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic with a relevant trade certificate.
- Proven experience in general servicing and passenger vehicle repairs.
- Strong mechanical skills across brakes, suspension, steering and tyres.
- Consistent focus on quality workmanship and attention to detail.
- Reliable, focused and professional work ethic; a rego inspection ticket is highly regarded.
