About the role   
We are seeking an experienced mechanic to join the team with the chance to grow into a more senior role in the future for the right candidate. General maintenance and repairs, pink slips, nothing too involved. Escape corporate dealership world and join a modern, fun business that treats it’s employees like family
 
Duties  

• Perform general servicing and repairs on a wide range of light vehicles, including fleet and hire cars.
• Conduct registration inspections (pink slips) and ensure compliance with roadworthy standards.
• Carry out light diagnostics and fault finding as required
• Maintain accurate service records, job cards, and workshop documentation.
• Support the growth of the workshop, stepping into supervisory or management duties as the team expands.
• Keep the workshop clean, safe, and fully compliant with WHS standards.
• Liaise with customers and colleagues to ensure efficient service delivery and high-quality workmanship.
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture, supporting the family-like environment of the workshop

  Skills and experience  

• Qualified mechanic with Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent).
• Inspection ticket or willingness to obtain
• Minimum 2 years’ post-apprenticeship experience; ex-dealership background advantageous.
• Strong technical knowledge, organisation, and time management skills.
• Easy-going, positive, and team-oriented attitude
• Australian citizen or permanent resident (no visa holders at this stage).
• Driver’s licence required.
