About the role
Just Automotive Recruitment is searching for a motivated Light Vehicle Mechanic looking to transition into the heavy vehicle industry. This is an opportunity to earn strong pay while gaining additional trade qualifications with a leading commercial vehicle dealership and workshop.
Duties
- Assist with servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of heavy vehicles and trucks
- Conduct vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and fault-finding activities
- Support senior technicians with engine repairs, rebuilds, and workshop tasks
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised workshop environment
Skills and experience
- Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic with strong mechanical aptitude
- Diagnostic and fault-finding experience highly regarded
- Experience with engine repairs or rebuilds is advantageous
- Air-conditioning qualifications or exposure will be highly regarded
