Our client is a well-established, family-owned company specializing in Truck & Trailer smash repair.
About the role
As a skilled Panel Beater, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring the structural integrity and appearance of heavy vehicles, including trucks and trailers. You will work in a dynamic environment alongside a skilled team, using your expertise to ensure the highest quality workmanship.
Duties
- Perform panel beating, welding, and fabrication tasks on heavy vehicles to repair damage and restore functionality.
- Conduct assessments and diagnose issues with vehicle panels, frames, and structural components.
- Utilise a variety of tools and equipment to perform repairs, including but not limited to hammers, welders, grinders, and spray painting equipment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used for each repair job.
- Proven experience as a Panel Beater, preferably in the heavy vehicle industry.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in panel beating or automotive repair are preferred.
- Competitive hourly rate on offer
- Monday to Friday 7:00am - 5.00pm
