Our client, Hawk Logistics Pty Ltd, responsible for transporting goods and produce right across the Australian Eastern Seaboard, is looking for experienced Automotive Refrigeration Mechanics to join their team located in VIC.
The Person:
- Trade qualified refrigeration mechanics
- Experience in general service and repairs of truck mounted refrigeration units
- Good ability to diagnose issues faults and problem solve using a multimeter
- Proven experience in refrigeration system diagnosis, maintenance, and repair
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work unsupervised
The Job:
- Implement routine maintenance schedules to prevent breakdowns and extend the life of refrigeration systems
- Onsite field work for breakdowns as needed
- General service and repair on truck mounted refrigeration units
- Install and pre delivery fitout of road transport refrigeration units
- Safely handle, recover, and recharge refrigerants according to industry regulations
- AUD$70,000 – AUD$85,000
