About the role
Hands-on warehousing role involving forklift operation, order picking, and inventory management.
Duties
- Safely operate a forklift for loading, unloading, and moving stock.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately and efficiently.
- Unload containers and manage incoming deliveries.
- Maintain stock control through accurate receipting, labelling, and storage.
- Assist with cycle counts and stocktakes as required.
- Use warehouse management systems and basic computer programs to process orders and update inventory records.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with WHS procedures.
- Support day-to-day warehouse operations as directed by the supervisor.
Skills and experience
- Current and valid forklift licence.
- Proven experience in pick packing and container unloading.
- General warehousing skills and knowledge of safe manual handling practices.
- Comfortable with basic computer use and warehouse systems.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy in handling stock.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
- Physically fit to handle the demands of warehousing work.
