About the role
Hands-on role for an experienced technician skilled in diagnostics, servicing, and repairs. Work with modern tools in a busy, high-performing workshop. Tackle breakdowns, engine work, and mentor junior techs. Monday to Friday schedule with optional overtime.
Duties
- Run advanced diagnostics to identify faults fast
- Perform regular servicing to keep vehicles in top shape
- Respond to breakdowns and deliver quick fixes
- Repair engines, brakes, and key mechanical systems
- Maintain accurate job and service records
- Support and guide junior technicians
- Ensure all work meets safety and industry standards
- Collaborate with a skilled workshop team to deliver quality results
Skills and experience
- Proven experience as an automotive or diesel technician
- Strong background in diagnostics, servicing, and mechanical repairs
- Expertise in engine, brake, suspension, and driveline systems
- Confident handling breakdowns and on-the-spot fixes
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Skilled in using diagnostic tools and workshop equipment
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to train and support junior technicians
- Must have a valid driver’s licence
