About the role
As a Service Manager, you’ll lead a team, manage inventory, oversee warranty claims, and ensure top customer service, all while driving KPIs and optimizing profitability.

Duties

• Coach, mentor and develop all team members to build an effective and efficient team
• Conduct weekly tool box meetings
• Liaise and assist sales department
• Generate and close job cards and maintain WIP report
• Ensure warranty claims are process in an efficient manner following manufacturers handbook
• Monitor and manage workshop inventory
• Maintain a clean and presentable work area
• Provide optimal levels of customer service and conflict resolution
• Hold team accountable to a result and drive departments KPI’s
• Participate in monthly and weekly meetings
• Translate P&L Reports and work on minimizing internal costs.

Skills and experience

• Ideally two years’ experience in a similar role or extensive experience in a Service Manager role with a proven sales record preferably within a related industry
• Current and valid driver’s class ‘C’ license
• Ability to build effective relationships with customers resulting in sales Strong Leadership skills and results orientated
• Ability to contribute to building a positive team spirit
• Highly developed knowledge of a related industry
• Ability to profile guest needs
• Strong understanding of all aspects of a workshop operation
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
