About the role
Just Automotive Recruitment is searching for a Trades Assistant (Industrial Equipment) to service and maintain industrial parts washers across Greater Sydney and regional NSW.
Duties
- Service and maintain industrial parts washers, including scheduled and breakdown servicing
- Drain and replace cleaning fluids and clear blockages in lines, hoses and filtration systems
- Service pumps, gearboxes, seals and other mechanical components
- Perform basic mechanical repairs and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and control-system issues
- Transport equipment and components to the workshop and complete service reports and documentation
Skills and experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude with practical, hands-on experience
- Physically capable of handling drums and components weighing up to approximately 40kg
- Confident and willing to drive a clean, well-maintained manual company truck
- Clean driving record and willingness to travel across Sydney, Wollongong, Newcastle, Canberra and Orange, including occasional overnight stays
- MR license, forklift license, industrial equipment, automotive or heavy mechanical experience and basic diagnostic/electrical skills are highly regarded
