About the role  
Join a leading dealership representing a global truck brand with great working conditions and a strong team in place. Carry out general maintenance, diagnosis and repair on a range of light and heavy commercial vehicles and trailers. Experienced light vehicle and current truck mechanics encouraged to apply. On shore visa holders with experience accepted.

Duties 

• Ensure high levels of workmanship throughout the workshop team through effective QC process
• Assist junior technicians where required with both mechanical and electrical diagnosis and repair
• Ensure repairs are documented accurately and in line with manufacturer requirements 
• Work independently and as part of a team as required
• Ensure workplace health and safety requirements are maintained at all times

Skills and experience 

• Formal qualifications in heavy vehicle mechanics or equivalent
• Hands on experience in a workshop setting
• High standard of work essential
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written 
• Open to skilled technicians on work visas.
